Durango Chicken

Ingredients

8 Boneless/skinless chicken breasts, grilled and kept warm
2 T Vegetable oil
1 C Onion, chopped
1 1/2 C Heavy cream
2 3 oz packages cream cheese cut into pieces

1/2 t Garlic salt
2 (7 oz) Cans whole green chiles, rinsed, drained and cut into strips
4 T Cilantro, chopped

Directions

Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over medium heat and grill chicken until golden brown, remove and keep warm.



Add onion to skillet and cook until golden.



Add heavy cream slowly to skillet, bring to simmering. Cook for 5 minutes until mixture thickens. Reduce to low heat. Add cream cheese and garlic salt. Cook until cream cheese melts and sauce is smooth. Stir in green chile strips and heat through.



Top chicken breasts with cream sauce and sprinkle with cilantro.
