Cinnamon Nuts

Ingredients

1/4 C Butter
3 C Walnuts, almonds, or pecans
1/2 C Maltitol crystals

3 T Maltitol crystals
1 T Cinnamon
1/2 t Ground ginger
1/2 t Ground nutmeg

Directions

Toast the nuts in a skillet, keep tossing them until toasted.



Remove nuts from skillet to bowl.



Melt the butter in the skillet, stir in the nuts and the 1/2 cup of maltitol crystals, stir until maltitol is dissolved about 5 minutes.



In a large bowl mix spices and remaining maltitol crystals.



Stir in nuts.



Spread mixture on wax paper and cool about 20 minutes.



Separate the nuts and stor in tightly covered container.
