Sausage and Cheese Casserole

Ingredients

8 slices CarbXtract bread, cubed
2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
4 beaten eggs
1-1 lb.roll sausage, browned and drained
3 cups half and half (divided)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp. prepared mustard

Directions

Put cubed bread in greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle browned sausage over bread. Sprinkle shredded cheese over sausage. In a bowl, mix eggs, mustard, and 2 1/2 cups half and half. Pour over layers in pan. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. When ready to bake, mix soup and remaining 1/2 cup half and half-pour over layers in pan. Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 1 hour (uncovered).

Additional Information

Recipe is easily halved and baked in a 9" pan.
