Crabmeat Almond Pie

Ingredients

1/4 C Toasted almonds, chopped
2 Eggs, plus 2 egg yolks
2 t Dijon mustard

1 t Seasoned salt
2 T Chives, minced
2 C Grated fontina cheese
4 ozs Crabmeat
1 1/2 C Heavy cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.



Place toasted almonds on the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate.



Put eggs and yolks in a bowl and beat well.



Add mustard, salt, chives, cheese, crabmeat.



Scald heavy cream by bringing it right to the boiling point but do not boil.



Add heavy cream to crab mixture.



Pour cream/crab mixture into pie plate.



Bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees.
