Viennese Whirls

Ingredients

3 ozs Butter
1 oz Splenda
3 ozs Almond flour

1/2 t Vanilla extract
Sugar free strawberry jam
Pinch of salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 375F degrees.



Cream the butter and splenda with vanilla extract until it is light and fluffy.



Sift almond flour and salt and then add to the butter and splenda mixture gradually. Beat well after each addition until the mixture is smooth.



Using a 1 inch star pipe, pipe stars of approximately 1 1/4 inch diameter and no more than 1/8th inch high onto a baking sheet.



Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the middle shelf of the oven at 375F degrees.



Spread a small amount of sugar free strawberry jam between the flat sides of two "whirls" to make them stick together. Dust with additional splenda.
