Ingredients

1 C thinly sliced onions
2 T Butter
1 1/2 t Xanthan gum
2 C water
2 C diced turnips
1 C sliced celery

1 1/2 t salt
1/4 t pepper
1 lb cod or haddock, skinned, boned, cooked, & cut in pieces
1 (7.5 oz) can crabmeat, drained, flaked
2 C Heavy cream
3 C shredded sharp cheddar cheese


Directions

Cook onions in butter until tender.



Stir in water, turnips, celery, & seasonings. Cover & simmer 20 minutes or until turnips are tender.



Add xanthan gum a little at a time until desired consistency has been reached.



Add remaining ingredients; stir until cheese is melted.
