Bangers in Rum Sauce

Ingredients

2 lb Sausages (Bangers)
4 oz Rum (white or dark)

5 T Brown sugar twin
1/2 t Xanthan gum

Directions

Cook sausage until lightly browned in a skillet with a little oil. Drain on paper towel.



Slice sausage into three equal parts. Steep in rum for 2 hours.



Sprinkle brown sugar twin over rum and sausages making sure they are covered with liquid. Cook in 350F oven for 15-20 minutes or until bubbling. Stir in xanthan gum a little at a time until sauce is thickened, stirring well.
