Meaty & Cheesy Lasagna

Ingredients

3 lbs. ground beef
1 jab Carb Wide tomato sauce
2 containers of Ricotta cheese (15 oz.)
(10) 1 oz. mozzarella cheese slices
4 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1/2 tablespoon basil
1/2 tablespoon oregano
2 eggs

Directions

1. Brown ground beef in skillet. After beef is cooked, add jar of Carb Wise tomato sauce and simmer low for 2 minutes.

2. Preheat oven to 350F.

3. In bowl, mix ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, and eggs.

4. Spoon half of meat mixture into bottom of 9x13 pan.

5. Spoon half of cheese mixture on top of meat.

6. Place mozzarella slices on top of cheese layer to form the "noodle" layer.

7. Spoon other half of meat mixture on top of mozzarella cheese.

8. Spoon remaining cheese mixture on top of meat.

9. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

10. Bake for about 20-30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
