Donut Puffs

Ingredients

1 C Vanilla whey protein powder
1 T Baking powder
1/2 t Baking soda
1/2 t Salt
1/4 t Nutmeg
1/2 t Cinnamon

1/4 C Splenda
1 Egg
2 T Butter, melted
1/4 C Heavy cream with 1/4 cup water, mix together

Oil for deep frying

Directions

Preheat oil in deep fryer to 375F degrees.



Whisk together all dry ingredients.



Combine all liquid ingredients.



Stir liquid mix into dry mixture.



Let dough rest for 5 minutes.



Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil.



Do not overload the fryer, only fry 3 or 4 at a time so they have room to float and turn.



Cook until golden.



You may toss the donuts into splenda/cinnamon mixture to coat them after draining.
