Southern Fried Cabbage

Ingredients

2 T Cooking oil
4 C Chopped or shredded cabbage
1 Small onion, chopped

salt and pepper, to taste
1/8 t Ground nutmeg
1 t Splenda
1-2 T White vinegar, to taste

Directions

Heat oil over medium heat in large skillet. Add cabbage, onion, and seasonings and stir until combined. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.



Combine splenda and vinegar together; stir until splenda is dissolved.



Pour vinegar over cabbage and simmer an additional 5 minutes.



Stir just before serving to mix.
