Broccoli and Cheese Soup

Ingredients

1 can chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups broccoli (fresh or frozen)

1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

First, steam or cook broccoli. Put all other ingredients in blender (or food processor) except cheddar until smooth. Add broccoli for just a few secs so it will be chopped up very fine. (Or put it all in together if you want it more pureed.) Pour in sauce pan, add cheese and continue to stir over low heat until melted.
