Ingredients

1/3 c olive oil
2 garlic cloves, pressed or chopped
1/3 c chopped onion
2 c cooked shrimp (may use frozen thawed, if desired)

1/2 c heavy cream
1/2 c shredded parmesan cheese
pinch cracked red pepper
salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Heat olive oil in medium skillet, add pressed garlic and onion. Saute till onions are soft but not browned. Add shrimp and cook for three minutes. Pour in cream, parmesan cheese, cracked red pepper and simmer till sauce thickens slightly. Add salt and pepper if desired.

Additional Information

You may substitute chicken or lobster for the shrimp or have a combination of any of the three. This is very creamy and delicious.

This makes a great main dish with a lc pasta or steamed chopped cauliflower. My family prefers it plain.
