Rich Vanilla Custard Ice Cream

Ingredients

1 C Splenda
1/2 C Water
7 Large egg yolks


1/8 t Salt
3 t Vanilla
1 Quart Heavy cream

Directions

Combine splenda and water in heavy saucepan and place over medium heat.



Cook stirring until the splenda is dissolved.



Beat egg yolks until light and frothy. Pour into splenda/water mixture. Beat well and cool.



Add salt and vanilla.



Stir in the cream. Pour mixture into ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
