Desert Salsa Verde

Ingredients

12 Tomatillos, husk removed, leave whole
6 Large jalapenos, membrane and seeds removed, cut in half
1 Small Head garlic, cloves separated, skins removed, leave cloves whole

1 Bunch fresh cilantro, chopped roughly
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste


Directions

Place all ingredients into a large saucepan. Fill with water until the water just covers the veggies.



Cook over medium heat until all veggies are tender and the water has evaporated a little. Remove from heat and cool.



Pour veggies & water into food processor and process until of liquid but chunky consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste.



Chill in air-tight container.
