Spicy Carmelized Onion Soup

Ingredients

3 Medium onions, thinly sliced
2 t Cajun seasoning
2 T Olive oil
1 T Brown sugar twin
4 C Chicken broth
2 C Chopped, cooked smoked turkey from the deli

1/4 C Dry white wine
1/8 t Black pepper
1/4 C Crumbled bleu cheese
1 T Snipped fresh parsley

Directions

In a saucepan cook onions and cajun seasoning in hot oil until onions are tender, stirring frequently.



Sprinkle with brown sugar twin, cook for 1 to 2 minutes more or until onions are golden.



Stir in chicken broth, turkey, wine, and pepper, cook and stir until heated through. Top each serving with the bleu cheese and parsley.
