Country Ham & Red-eye Gravy

Ingredients

1 Country ham steak (1/4 inch thick). If you cannot get country ham you may use regular ham steak

2 t Corn oil
1/4 C water
1/8 C strong coffee

Directions

Place corn oil in a skillet. Heat skillet and fry ham until slightly brown on both sides.



Remove ham to warm plate and make gravy.



Add about 1/4 cup of water to hot skillet that ham was cooked in. Let sizzle, add coffee and cook a couple more minutes.



Pour gravy over ham.
