Ingredients

One Atkins bread mix

Aluminum foil

Almond flour

Directions

Prepare the bread mix according to directions on package.

Divide dough in half and allow it to rise as directed.

On a cookie sheet, sprinkle almond flour.

Form one half of the dough into an oval for the spider's body.

Divide the other half of the dough into 9 parts.

Roll 8 parts into fat snakes for the spider's legs.

Attach four legs on each side of the spider's body using a little bit of water.

Prop the center of each leg up with a ball of foil, so it looks like it is walking.

The 9th part is divided into two, rolled into ball shapes and attached to one end as the spider's eyes.

Mix one egg yolk and a little cold water.

Brush mixture onto bread to make it shiny.

Sprinkle the spider with coarse salt and poppy seeds.

Bake at 350 F degrees for about 30 minutes. The bread should be browned outside and hollow when tapped on top.

You can also make mini individual spiders also, just divide dough appropriately.
